9.8. PVR recording
Before starting a PVR recording, ensure that you have connected a USB stor-
age medium to one of the USB ports.

In TV mode, press the

button. The currently selected programme then starts
being recorded. At the same time, a progress bar opens featuring the media but-
ton options.
You can select these options during the recording:


: Stops the recording
−

: Activate the Timeshift recording function (see section "Timeshift function
during PVR recording").
Press the corresponding media button twice, as the first time only the pro-
gress bar appears initially. Alternatively if the progress bar is open, you can
select the desired option using the arrow keys

and press OK to con-
firm.

To stop recording, press

. Confirm the subsequent prompt by pressing OK . The
recording now appears under CHANNEL > RECORD LIST .

You can delete the currently selected recording with the red button under RE
CORD LIST .

Select the recording you want from the RECORD LIST and press OK to play it.
The following options can only be selected when playing a recording:
−

: Activate A-B playback (see section "Timeshift function during PVR record-
ing").



: Stop playback
−

: Pause playback

−

/

: Fast forward/rewind
− : Slow-motion feature (2, 4, 8, 16, 32 x slower)

−

: Set the time that playback is to start

− / : Skip forwards/backwards in 30-second increments
9.8.1. Timeshift function
You can also pause the current programme and then resume playing it later.

In TV mode, press the

button. The programme is then paused and the
timeshift recording starts in the background. At the same time, a progress bar
opens featuring the media button options.

Press the

button to start the timeshift recording. The programme is now
played back with the delay.

To exit timeshift mode, press

. If you then press the

button, the timeshift
recording starts from the beginning. Press the

button again to end the
timeshift recording and the programme is no longer played back with a time de-
lay.
