If you have forgotten the Windows password for your device, you can
also reset the PC by rebooting from the sign-in screen.
To do so, press and hold the toggle button and then select
On/off
>
Restart
at the bottom right. Once the device has rebooted, select
Trou-
bleshoot
>
Reset this PC

13.3. UEFI firmware confi guration
The UEFI firmware configuration (the basic hardware configuration of your system)
provides numerous configuration options for operating your PC.
For example, you can modify the operating mode for interfaces, security features or
power supply management.

The PC has already been configured by the manufactur-
er to ensure optimum operation. Modifications can af-
fect the stable and safe operation of the system.
Modifications may only be carried out by specialists
or very experienced users.
13.3.1. Executing the UEFI firmware configuration
You can only run the configuration program upon system startup. If the PC has al-
ready been started, shut down Windows® and restart it.
Before the PC reboots, press the
Del
key and hold it down until the message
En-
tering Setup
appears.
