To replace the hydraulic power unit ,first take off the column cover. Please see
Chapter V. „ Removing the
Column Cover“.
The control has to be removed as well, for further help please see
Chapter XII. „Replacement of the Control
Panel“.
Do as follows:
Before starting the dismantling of the power unit, disconnect
the current supply.
Disconnect the respective cables on the front of the power
unit.
Remove both screws on the back of the power unit in order
to dismantle it.
Attention:
Before entirely removing the screws, a second person
shoud secure the power unit to prevent it from falling
down!
Before unscrewing the hydraulic tubes from the power unit
the remaining oil should be filled, through the already remo-
ved depressurisation screw, into a separate pan or into the
oil tank of the new power unit.
As soon as the oil tank is empty the tubes can be unscrewed
and connected to the new power unit.
Note:
When unscrewing the hydraulic tubes, oil might penetrate.
Finally fix the new power unit to the holder and reconnect the
current supply.
