Audio and Video Settings
The MVP891 has various Audio and Video Settings
affecting such things as BD Digital Audio Processing;

Setting Name
Setting Description

(Digital Audio Output)
HD Audio Output
- Select this setting when viewing and listening to the primary information (e.g. the movie) on a Blu-ray Disc. This setting
ensures the Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, etc. Sound Track on the disc is sent, via the HDMI Connection, to the external
Audio/Video Control Center for decoding.
Mix Audio Output
- Select this setting when viewing and listening to the secondary information (e.g. Picture-in-Picture) on a Blu-ray Disc. This
will assure hearing both the Movie Sound Track and the audio from the secondary (Picture-In-Picture). The Digital Audio of
this combination (Mix Audio) leaves the MVP891 in a multichannel PCM Encoded Format via the HDMI Connection.

Secondary Video
(Picture-in-Picture)
Secondary Video, also known as Picture-in Picture, when available on a Blu-ray Disc (“Bonus View” and “BD Live”) is displayed by the
MVP891. The Secondary Video Control allows for selection, when available, from the multiple views that may be available on a given disc. The
choices are as follows:
OFF
- Switches OFF the Picture-in Picture.
1/X
- Displays the first available In-Picture Video.
2/X
- Displays the second In-Picture Video.
X/X
- Displays the third, fourth, etc. available In-Picture Video.

Secondary Audio
(In-Picture Audio)
Secondary Audio, from the Picture-in Picture, when available on a Blu-ray Disc (“Bonus View” and “BD Live”) is outputted by the MVP891.
The Secondary Audio Control allows for selection, when available, from the multiple Audio Choices that may be available on a given disc. The
choices are as follows:
OFF
- Switches OFF the Secondary Audio.

- Selects the first available (In-Picture) Audio.
2/X
- Selects the second available (In-Picture) Audio.

- Displays the third, fourth, etc. available (In-Picture) Audio.

(In-Picture Subtitle)
BD Discs with Picture-in-Picture may contain multiple Subtitles to choose from. The choices are as follows:

- Switches OFF the Secondary Subtitle.

- Selects the first available (In-Picture) Subtitle.

- Selects the second available (In-Picture) Subtitle.

- Displays the third, fourth, etc. available (In-Picture) Subtitle.

Selects from the available Subtitle Styles when Picture-in-Picture is available on the Blu-ray Disc.

Audio/Video Sync
There could be a noticeable difference in time between the picture and sound due to the difference in the Video and Audio Processing time and the
type of Video Output Connection used. The choices are:

To access these settings while playing back a BD Disc,
press the MODE Push-button on the Remote Control.
Then use the DIRECTIONAL Push-buttons to view
status and make changes.
