Status Indicators
The following status indicators are provided:
Recommended Backup and Restore Process
The server is designed with two hard drives that are continuously mirrored
(synchronized) so that if one hard drive fails, the server can continue to operate
with the other hard drive. (The server will operate in a degraded state until the
failed hard drive is replaced.) Both hard drives contain the necessary system
software and data for the server to continue to operate. Therefore you should
not need to restore the SAN managed data but in the event you need to restore
the SAN managed data, review the following information.
ATTENTION!
The RAID configuration has been preset at the factory and any attempt
to modify the settings may void the system warranty.
Backup SAN Managed Data
NOTE:
For complete instructions on how to backup SAN Managed data, refer to the
EFC Manager Software User Manual

Ensure that a backup directory for all SAN managed data has been set within
EFCM and specified to a user defined location on the network or the 1U Server

Status Indicators
LED Color Condition Description
LAN 1 Activity Green On LAN 1 link, no data activity.
Green Blinking Accessing data.
Off Idle.
LAN 2 Activity Green On LAN 2 link, no data activity.
Green Blinking Accessing data.
Off Idle.
Identification Blue Blinking Identification button is on and the unit ID LED is blinking.
The identification on or off button is located at the rear of
the unit.
RJ45 (LAN) GbE Yellow On 1 Gbps connection
Yellow Blinking Port identification with 1 Gbps connection
Green On 100 Mbps connection
Green Blinking Port identification with 10 or 100Mbps connection
Off 10 Mbps connection
