8. Connection to the Audio System
The CD player has AUDIO OUT (28) cinch sockets for connection to your audio system (e.g. mixer).
To connect the audio outputs, use shielded cables suitable for this only. Use of any other
cables may cause interferences.
To avoid distortions or mismatches which could damage the device, only connect devices with
the same connection type.
For this, observe also the connection data in the section "Technical Data".
• Connect the AUDIO OUT connections (28) to the CD inputs of your mixer or pre-amplifier.
• Always connect the socket "L" to the left input and the socket "R" to the right input.
• If your amplifier or mixer have a digital coaxial input, the audio connection can be created with the DIGITAL
OUT socket (29) of the CD player.
• Connect the REMOTE socket (30) to the mixer's REMOTE socket.
• Connect the RELAY socket (31) to the second CD player's RELAY socket.
The REMOTE and RELAY functions can only be used if your second CD player and mixer support this
function and have the corresponding inputs. The corresponding connection cables are not part of the
scope of delivery.
9. Mains Connection
The mains outlets to which the record player is connected must be easily accessible to quickly
separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
The CD player and all connected devices must be switched off when the power supply is
connected.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
• Connect the mains cable plug (33) to a proper mains socket (230V~ / 50Hz).
• The mains switch (32) is used to switch the CD player on and off.
