SETTINGS
Selecting the training zone
The pulse computer uses your age to automatic-
ally calculate your maximum heart rate (MHR)
and the 3 training zones.
Zone 1
: 50-65 % of
MHR,
Zone 2
: 65-80 % of MHR,
Zone 3
: 80-95
% of MHR (see Pages 5 and 6).
Keep pressing key “
B
” to select one of the
training zones (1, 2, 3 or U).
The selected training zone (e.g. 2) now flashes.
The U zone is a user-defined training zone.
Press key “
C
” to confirm your selection.
If you select training zone 1, 2 or 3, the
settings are automatically defined by the
computer.
If you select training zone U, you can now
define the limits for your own training
zones.
Keep pressing key “
B
” until the desired value for
the lower limit of the training zone (LZN) flashes.
Confirm this value by pressing key “
C
”. The
upper limit for the training zone (HZN) now
starts to flash. Again use keys “
B
” and “
C
” to
select and confirm the desired value.
