Installa ated die head
For installa at ed die head on a fusion splicer which is fi xed on a support, select a heated die head
according t o the specifi ca requir hten with an internal hex wrench. Generally, the
die head shall be with its smaller end in front and its larger end at back.
Startup by powering
(The power source must be provided with earth wire) The green indicator will be on and the red indicator 5
will be o
ff once the p ower is connected, which indicates that the fusion splicer is under the automa cally-
controlling status and it can be operated. Note: The automa temperature control status only shows the
fusion splicer is under the temperature control status, having no e ff ect on opera
Methods for fusion splicing of pipes
Cut o ff the pipes v cally with a pipe cu er , put the pipe and the fi nto the die head of the fusion
splicer simultaneously without rota rate according to the following table. Take the pipe and
fi ately once the hea ev ed, insert the pipe in the fi to
the required depth rapidly, straightly and uniformly without rota to form a unif orm flan ge on the joint.
Welding temperature adjustment
The pipes of di ff erent material shall be welded at di ff erent temperatures. The welding temperature can be
regulated through the regulator 3, and the range of the temperature will be 50-300
℃
.
