Rotating & Reclining 

Car Seat on Base

 

Side-Facing Position 

(Towards Parent)

To rotate the car seat from  

Side-Facing for all modes, firmly 

rotate the seat towards the back 

or front of the base.

Rear-Facing

 Mode

Forward-Facing

 and

 Booster Seat

 Mode

Rotation Lock Indicator 

will show 

the 

locked

 symbol when car seat  

is locked in place.

The car seat 

must be fully reclined BEFORE

 rotating it to Forward-

Facing. 

Rotation Handle

To Recline:

 Squeeze the recline handle and push the top of the car 

seat back.  

For More Upright: 

Squeeze the recline handle and pull the top of the 

car seat forward.

There are 3 Recline positions in 

Rear-Facing 

Mode

SIDE-FACING Position ONLY 

for use when:

• Installing car seat into base & child into car seat. 

• Removing child from car seat & car seat from base. 

WARNING:

You must squeeze the 

Rotation Handle

 on the front of the base to  

move the seat out of Rear-Facing or Forward-Facing modes.
