36 Chapter 4: Hardware reference
• The video data is sent to the 128 Mbytes of on-board acquisition memory. After
storing the video, an interrupt is generated notifying the Host of the acquired
data. The Host is then responsible to request a data transfer to the optional
MPEG-4 encoder, Host memory, off-board display memory, or other PCIe devices
across the PCIe bus. Upon receiving the request, acquisition memory sends the
data to the appropriate device.
