RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
KNOW THE TOOL
Read this Owner’s Manual and all the labels affixed to the Table Saw carefully
before using it, and follow all instructions contained therein. Retain this
manual for future reference.

This tool should only be serviced by a qualified service technician.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES FOR BENCH TOOLS
WARNING!
Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all in-
structions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious per-
sonal injury.
1.
KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE
and in working order.
2.
REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES.
Form a habit of checking
to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the tool before
turning it on.
3.
KEEP THE WORK AREA CLEAN.
Cluttered areas and benches invite
accidents.
4.
DON’T USE IN A DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT
. Don’t use power tools in a
damp or wet location, or expose them to rain. Keep the work area well lit.
5.
KEEP CHILDREN AWAY
. All visitors should be kept at a safe distance from
the work area.
6.
MAKE THE WORKSHOP CHILDPROOF
using padlocks and master
switches, or by removing starter keys.
7.
DON’T FORCE THE TOOL
It will do the job better and safer when used at
the rate that it was designed to work at.
8.
USE THE RIGHT TOOL
Don’t force the tool or attachment to do a job that it
was not designed to do.
9.
USE THE PROPER EXTENSION CORD.
Make sure your extension cord
is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one
that is heavy enough to carry the current that your product will draw. An
undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage, resulting in loss of power
and overheating. Table 1 shows the correct size to use, depending on the
