MAINTENANCE

    WARNING:                     

  To avoid serious  

personal injury, always remove the battery 
pack from the tool when cleaning or  
performing any maintenance.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic 
parts. Most plastics are susceptible to 

 

damage from various types of commercial 
solvents. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, 
dust, oil, grease, etc.

The driver does 
not work.

The battery is depleted.

Charge the battery.

The bit cannot be 
installed.

1. The sleeve is not released.

1. Release the sleeve.

2. The bit does not fit the 
sleeve.

2. Use a suitable adapter. 

The motor is 
overheating.

Be sure the cooling vents
are free from dust and  
obstacles.

Clean, clear vents. Do not cover with 
you hand during operation.

    WARNING:                     

  Do not at any time let 

brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
products, penetrating oils, etc. to come in 
contact with plastic parts. Chemicals
can damage, weaken or destroy plastic 
which may result in serious personal
injury.

  When servicing, use 

only identical replacement parts. Use of
any other parts may create a hazard or 
cause product damage. To ensure safety
and reliability, all repairs should be  
performed by a qualified service  
technician.
