3.2 LED status display and control panel
The LED status display shows you the current operating status of the DiMAX 1200B.
Feedback on
(blue LED on)
Triggering STOP on Central Station Booster flashes green
Triggering STOP on Booster Booster flashes red
Triggering STOP on a remote Booster flashes green
Central station and booster turn off the
power to the track. The emergency
STOP may be cancelled by the remote

3.3 Power Supply
The DiMAX 1200B booster features a powerful internal 12 Amps power supply. Connect the
power cord to the connector (Illustr. 2 Point 1) of your booster. Connect the jack to the wall
outlet and switch on the booster with the switch on the front panel.
To use an external power supply, connect the green 6-pin multi-connector to the green multi
terminal of your DiMAX 1200B. Connect the cables of your power supply (transformer,
battery, DCC power) to the appropriate terminals (Illustr. 2 Point 6) and tighten the screws
with a flat screwdriver.
Note: the main power switch on the front panel is deactivated if an external power
source is used.
Don't tin your cables!
Use a ferrule or twist the cables properly before screwing them in.
3.4 Fuses
The DiMAX ® 1200B Booster may be powered by the internal transformer or an external
power source. The two power sources are separately fused. The fuses are accessible on the
back side of your DiMAX
® 1200B Booster.
The fuses for the 230V AC power are located in the socket beneath the receptacle. 2 fuses
250V/3,15Amp (slow blow) are used (See Illustr. #2).
The external power is fused by a 12Amp fuse (slow blow) located to the right of the 230V AC
power socket (See Illustr. #2).
