Overheating of the braking system may cause failure

in extreme conditions.

Examination of rear brake fluid level

The reservoir of the rear brake disc is set up on rear brake

pump of the right side of the motorcycle

No air bubbles emerging from the liquid should be found in

the  observation  mirror  when  the  motorcycle  is  parked

vertically.

Warning

If the brake fluid level drops below the minimum level,

probably it indicates that the braking system has a leak

or the brake pads are completely worn out. In this case,

please consult your authorized Shineray dealer.

Refilling the rear brake fluid reservoir

Add  the  brake    fluid  until  a  bubble  appears  in  the

observation  mirror.  Remove  the  bolt

2

  from  the  top,

then  fill  the  brake  fluid  up  the  mark  inside  the  reservoir.,

and remount the bolt. Spilled brake fluid must be rinsed off

with water.

Warning

- Never use DOT5 brake fluid.

- Store the brake fluid out the reach of kids

-Brake  fluid  can  cause  skin  irritation.  Please  avoid

any contact with skin and eyes. If you get the brake

fluid  in  your  eyes by accident, rinse  with water and

go to doctor immediately

Caution:

·

Use  only  clean  brake  fluid  taken  from  a  tightly

sealed container.

·

Please  avoid  the  brake  fluid  splashing  onto  the

stickers, paint and rubber components.

Examination of rear brake pads

The  brake  pads  can  be  inspected  backwards.  The

thickness of the linings may not be less than 1mm.

Warning

Linings should not be thinner than 1mm at the most

worn  out part  of  the  pads. Otherwise  it  could  cause

failure  of  braking.  For  your  own  safety  concern,

please have your brake pad replaced immediately if

necessary.

Caution:

If the replacement of the brake pads is performed too

late,  partly  or  entirely  causing  the  wear-out  of  the

lining, the steel components of the brake pad will rub
