2. Adjustment of the throttle cables
Please confirm whether or not the adjusting nuts of throttle
cables function normally.
Check whether or not the free travel of the throttle is in the
regulated interval of values
The regulated free travel is from 2 to 6 mm. If not, please
use adjusting screw to adjust. After the adjustment, please
start the engine. If it is still not in accordance with the
criterion, please adjust again
After adjustment, start the engine and check for the free
operating movement again, repeat the adjustment if
necessary until it is as required.
Warning
use not full throttle to the free stroke motorcycle is
a dangerous operation, rotating the handle, not full
throttle to the free stroke can make the engine
speed increases suddenly.
3. Carburetor
Type PZ30 carburetor is applied to this motorcycle

Adjustment of carburetor idling speed
1). Screw the sharp turning on the front float chamber to the
right position clockwise, then turn backward for 1.725 turn.
2). Warm up the engine to the working temperature, connect
the tachometer and use the adjusting wheel to set the normal
idle speed to 1500r/min.
3). Screw the sharp turning screw of idling speed again to
rise the stable revolving speed until it reaches the highest
level. Then use the adjusting wheel to set the normal idle
speed to 1500r/min.
4). Adjust the sharp turning screw repeatedly until the
revolving speed of the engine stays at around 1500r/min
5). The sharing turning screw of idling speed has been
adjusted in a normal condition before leaving the factory.
Please do not adjust this screw at your will, or it will affect
the stability of the engine idling speed.

Basic information about carburetor wear-
out
Because of the vibration of the engine, the wear-out of the
throttle valve, jet needle and needle jet are subjected to be
worse. The wear -out might lead to the carburetor’s failure
of function. Therefore, those parts need to be replaced
after 200 hours running.

Adjustment of the mixing control screw
Please introduce specific tools to the mixing control
screw at he bottom of carburetor. Press the tool upward
slightly and turn the adjusting wheel until the tool engages
the slot of the mixing control screw.
Now, you can go about the adjusting the screw. Marks
were provided on the adjusting wheel, making it easier to
keep track of the turns.

Examination of float level (float height)
To check the float level, please disassemble the carburetor
and remove the float chamber. Hold the carburetor in a
slanted position such that the float will be above the float
needle valve, however, do not press it.
In this position, the edge of the float should be parallel
with the float chamber sealing surface.
If the float level does not correspond to the required value,
check the float needle valve and, if necessary, replace it.
If the float needle valve is free of trouble, you can adjust
the float height by bending the float lever.
Install the float chamber, and then the carburetor. Adjust
the idling speed either.

Oil draining of float chamber, carburetor
The goal to drain the oil in the float chamber is to get rid
of the moisture combining with the oil. The moisture in
the float chamber might cause abnormal functioning.
Therefore, it should be done when the engine is cold.
