OIL
CHANGE
@
Use diesel engine oil
Top up the engine oil through the hole (
ref.1
). To change
the oil in the engine oil sump, take out the dipstick
(
ref.2
).
Unscrew the cap on the rubber pipe (
ref.3
) and make
flow out the oil.
It is advisable to drain the oil when it is still sufficiently
warm so that it flows easily.
For detailed information in this connection, consult the
engine use and maintenance manual which accompanies
the machine.
- Dispose of the used oil in an appropriate manner,
since it is a polluting product.
- Take the used oil to special waste collection centres
for disposal.
- Wear gloves to protect the hands from contact with
oil. In case of accidental contact with engine oil,
thoroughly wash the affected part with soap and
water.
- Do not top-up with oil or refuel above the maximum
level. An excessive quantity of oil may cause damage
to the engine.
Always check proper viscosity of the engine oil in
relation to the range of temperatures in which the
generator operates, as indicated in chap 6.5.

procedure below:
- Remove and extract the filter (
ref.4
).
- Screw in the new filter after cleaning the rubber seal
and seating surface and ensure it is in perfect condition.
When the operation has been completed, thoroughly
clean all the parts of the generator soiled with oil
and fuel.
For engine safety reasons, use only original spare
