3.0 RULES OF USE
To obtain the best performance from the equipment, carefully
follow what is set out below.
ATTENTION
The following maintenance, adjustment, and work preparation
operations must be performed with the tractor off and locked
firmly in position with the key removed from the dashboard
and the equipment positioned on the ground.
3.1 ATTACHMENT AND DETACHMENT OF THE
EQUIPMENT
VELOCE PIEGHEVOLE
3.1.1 ATTACHMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT
DANGER
The attachment to the tractor is a very dangerous phase, for
this reason, it shall be done by one operator only. Be very ca-
reful in following the instructions for the whole operation. Do
not stand on the machine and on the rear wheels. Perform all
operations from the external perimeter of the equipment.
ATTENTION! LOSS OF EQUIPMENT ON THE ROAD AND OF VEHICLE
CONTROL, DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURIES FOR THE DRIVER AND
THE PEOPLE IN THE VICINITY.
Before connecting the equipment to the tractor, and in any
case within 8 hours of continuous use, check the state of
wear and the integrity of the tractor connecting elements
and of the structural elements. The machine cannot be used
if anomalies are noted. Contact your dealer immediately.
The equipment may be attached to any tractor fitted out with a
threepoint universal hitch. The correct position of the tractor/discs
is determined by placing the equipment on a horizontal surface.
1) Hook the lifter bars on the preset pins (1 fig. 7A). Block with
the bolts.
2) Attach the chains of the tractor lifting bars. Using the tie rods
provided, secure the bars parallel to the tractor. This latter
precaution must be taken to safeguard against the equipment
moving horizontally.
3) Connect the third upper point (2 fig. 7A); the pin will be blocked
with the appropriate bolt (3 fig.7A); use the adjustment
tie-rod (4 fig.8A) to kepp the equipment parallel to the ground.
Connect the third upper point so that the connecting point of
the equipment is higher than that of the tractor (Fig.9A), also
during operation.
4) Check for proper attachment;
5) Fix the tractor lower links in such a way that the implement
cannot swing out sideways;
6) Adjust tractor lower links to equal length by means of the
adjusting devices (pic.9B);
7) Connect the implement and be sure that tractor links are well
-
fixed and locked to its linkage;
8) Connect hydraulic lines (standard connectors needs of 2
double-acting ½” spool valves);
9) Connect 12-volts lighting equipment connector.
3.1.2 DETACHMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT
ATTENTION
- Parking the machine is a very dangerous operation, for
this reason, it shall be done by one operator only.
- Be very careful to carry out the whole operation following
the instructions.
- Do not remain in the area of action of the equipment.
- Do not stand on the machine and on the rear rollers. Per-
form all of the operations from the outside.
The operation should be carried out on a solid, horizontal surface,
following the instructions given below:
- Lower the tractor lifting unit and rest the equipment on the ground.
- Stop the tractor, remove the key and activate parking brake.
- Disconnect the hydraulic pipes from the tractor distributors and
protect the quick couplings with the caps.
- Disconnect the electrical system of the machine from the tractor.
- Loosen and unhook the first and second point.
