writing!
The Position Correction menu is not write-protected. If re-
quired, protect the Setup menu using a password against
unauthorised access.

Configuring the position correction
1 Configure the following settings to determine the machine
zero for all connected incremental measuring systems type
1Vss oder TTL (RS-422) :

In the Origin menu, enable the desired function for each
axis to determine the machine zero.

If needed, enter a value for the Offset from machine
zero on the affected axes in the Origin menu.

Note: For absolute measuring systems (encoder type SSI )
the machine zero is set by hardware and not configurable.
2 In the Encoder menu, enable the check box REF for all axes
whose machine zero you would like to set by reference
mark.
Note: The signals of reference marks from absolute mea-
suring systems (encoder type SSI ) are not evaluated by the
PROFILER ST. The position correction is always done with
respect to the hardware set machine zero.
3 Save your entries with .
4 Switch to the position display.
