5.1 Commissioning the PROFILER ST
NOTICE
Possible equipment damage from commissioning/decom-
missioning with existing power connection!
Disconnect the PROFILER ST from the mains before connecting/
disconnecting measuring systems, a PC or other peripherals to/
from the PROFILER ST.
Possible incorrect data transmission from using unshield-
ed cables!
Only use shielded cables for connecting measuring systems, PCs
and other peripherals.

1 Read and understand the Safety chapter before installation
and commissioning.

2 Read and understand the operating manuals of the meas-
uring systems and periph erals, which you would like to
connect to the PROFILER ST.

Ensure that the PROFILER ST has a secure footing or is
mounted stably.
4 Ensure that the PROFILER ST is switched off ( ON-OFF switch
to position 0 ).
