Technical Notice CSO/CPO V1.1 / 10.14
10 Troubleshooting
10.3
Failures
Before intervening on the unit, switch off the electrical power supply. Be careful when interve-
ning on the refrigeration circuit because some parts can get very hot.
Operating incidents can arise from :
• the refrigeration unit stopping (the pump(s) and/or the compressor do not run).
• abnormal temperature variations.
As soon as an abnormal situation occurs, look for the cause of the problem following the procedures in-
dicated below.
If Option Y, programmable problem re-
covery controller is installed :
- Consult the display (1).
10.3.1 The unit is not operating
Look for the cause of the failure :
A.
Check the unit's power supply.
B.
Make sure that the safety switch (10Q1) is set to
position 1 (unit power on).
C.
Check the pump circuit breaker, if any (consult the
schematics in the technical file). Accessible by re-
moving the unit's cover.
D.
Check the power supply of the control circuit
(fuse).
E.
If available (option), check if the pump is running.
The motor can be controlled by the flow rate
controller. A circuit breaker (option) protects the
pump in the event of overload.
