Basic principles

1. Gas from ventilator.

2. Cable from ventilator.

3. The ultrasonic generator produces 

ultrasonic waves.

4. The waves are transmitted through 

sterile buffer water.

5. A medication mist is produced in the 

medication cup. The 10 ml cup is 
disposable. It can be filled during 
nebulization through an injection 
membrane in the T-piece, or before 
mounting the T-piece. The medication 
mist is carried to the patient by the 
inspiratory flow.

6. The T-piece has a mechanical particle 

separation system (baffles). This ensures 
a mass median diameter (MMD) of 
approximately 4.0 

μ

m of droplets in the 

mist. Larger droplets are re-nebulized.

7. Injection membrane.

Nebulizer Holder

The holder can be used when the Servo Ultra 
Nebulizer is not in use or when filling with 
medication.
