8.1.3  Vacuum filters cleaning and cartridge replacement

For the correct functioning of the equipment, it is essential to 

carry out the filter cleaning and maintenance. Filters are 

located at the back of the equipment, behind the handpiece 

connector cover (23).

1) Remove the magnetic cover (23) by pulling gently.

2) Remove the filter caps (31) by turning them anti-clockwise.

3) Take the cartridges out. 

4) Clean the cartridges and caps by means of a vacuum 

cleaner. 

Do not use water or liquid cleansers that 

could damage the vacuum pump.

Every 100 hours of equipment operation or 

when indicated on the touch screen, replace 

the filter cartridges.

5) Put the cartridges back into the caps and reassemble them 

turning them clockwise.

Make sure the filters are correctly assembled 

and the caps fully tightened.
