7.3 Start a treatment cycle
7.3.1
Background information
Before starting a treatment cycle, it is essential to fully inform the customer about any
contraindication to treatments (or parts of them) carried out with the Mantis DES Technology of
MR991.
Invite the customer to fill in, in all its parts, the personal case history report provided (“checkup"),
without omitting any important information which could be useful to evaluate the appropriate
treatment. After completing of the form, it is essential that the customer signs it.
7.3.2 First treatment cycle
Clean and disinfect the equipment before starting a new treatment (see
paragraph on cleaning and disinfection of the equipment)
1) From menu (B), press "Enter" to
access the menu displaying the
various treatments (F).
2) By clicking on each item, the
upper bar displays a brief
description of the type of
treatment available from that
menu. After selecting the desired
treatment, press "Forward" to
enter the next menu.
NB
MR991 automatically identifies
and controls the functioning of the
connected handpieces.
In the event of malfunctions or
connection problems, the function
(or functions) related to the
handpiece where the problem was
detected should be disabled on the
touch screen.
DES Technology
Treatment using all MR991 technologies, that is the endodermic massage combined with pulsed
magnetic fields (PMFs) with stochastic resonance. It is suitable for a full treatment (to be used
where specified).
Maxenergy
Treatment carried out with the Maxenergy handpiece for the application of “Mantic Magnetic
Cream”, where indicated.
Endox
Treatment with manual settings for endodermic massage and PMFs (professional mode).
Vixo
Specific treatment for face and décolleté to be carried out exclusively with the Vixo handpiece in
two selectable phases: a suction phase and a PMF phase with application of “Mantis Magnetic
Cream”, where specified.
