EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any cleaning or disinfection on the equipment, disconnect
the power supply by unplugging the machine.
8.1
Routine maintenance
MR991 is programmed to monitor and report on certain problems associated with maintenance,
such as the need to clean the filters, etc. However regular routine activities are also required.
At each treatment cycle
Clean and disinfect the handpieces.
Daily
Keep the touch-screen control panel clean.
Periodically or when indicated on the touch screen.
Clean the equipment.
Check that the vacuum filters are clean and tightened.
Every 50 hours
Replace the tabs of the Maxi DES and Mini DES handpieces (a warning will be displayed on the
touch screen).
Every 100 hours
Replace the cartridge of the vacuum filters.
Every 12 months
Complete overhaul of the equipment carried out by the Technical Assistance.
8.1.1 Cleaning and disinfection of the
handpieces
Maxi DES and Mini DES
Pull the tabs out using the provided tool.
Clean them with a cloth moistened with a solution
formed by 90% of water and 10% of a disinfectant
product containing sodium hypochlorite (e.g.
Amukine). Use the same solution to clean the
rollers and the handpiece contact surface area.
Do not use any paper which could tear and clog
the vacuum system.
Maxenergy
Clean the handpiece contact surface area with a
cloth moistened with a solution formed by 90% of
water and 10% of a disinfectant product
containing sodium hypochlorite (e.g. Amukine).
Vixo
Clean the handpiece contact surface area with a cloth moistened with a solution formed by 90%
of water and 10% of a disinfectant product containing sodium hypochlorite (e.g. Amukine).
8.1.2 Equipment cleaning
Clean the equipment surface with a soft cloth moistened with a solution formed by 90% of water
and 10% of a disinfectant product containing sodium hypochlorite (e.g. Amukine).
