Removing both sub panels provides access to the follow-
ing components:

• “CDI” control unit (D)

• Voltage regulator (E)

“CDI” CONTROL UNIT

• Free connector (A) by pulling purple tab (B); then dis-

connect the connector.

• Undo screws (V2) and remove “CDI” control unit (C).
