REAR BRAKE CALLIPER
• Undo screws (V2).
• Undo brake fluid line screw (V) and detach brake line
from calliper.
When reassembling, renew the gaskets of
the brake fluid line screw.
CHECKING THE REAR
BRAKE PADS FOR WEAR
• Take the opportunity to check also wear of the brake
disc.
If the disc is badly damaged or the thickness less than
3.5 mm, it must be renewed.
Minimum thickness of the pads is 2 mm.
REPLACING THE REAR CALLIPER
Empty the brake fluid circuit, draining the fluid into a sui-
table container for disposal in compliance with statutory
environmental legislation.
When removing the calliper, beware of the
risk of damaging the brake fluid line, the
disc, and the brake pads.
After working on the braking system, make sure that the
brake fluid line is not twisted, that the discs and pads are
not contaminated with oil or grease and that all screws
and unions are tightened fully down.
