(1) Remove Handle cover by unscrewing three 4x22 Tapping screws (
Figs. 15)
and then disconnect Carbon brush from
Armature's Commutator. (

ASSEMBLING
Tapping screw 4x35 (4 pcs.)
Separate Gear housing complete from
Motor housing by unscrewing four 4x35
Tapping screws.
Armature can be removed together with
Gear housing complete.
Remove Armature from Gear housing
complete by striking the edge of Inner
housing complete with Plastic hammer.
Note: Be careful not to lose Wave washer 15
which is assembled in Motor housing.

Do the reverse of the disassembling step.
Note: Do not forget to assemble Wave washer 15 to the Bearing box portion of Motor housing.

1. Turn Brush holder unit to
the appropriate position.
2. Shift the tail of Spiral spring
from Carbon brush.
3. Pull out Carbon brush
from the Commutator.
Disconnect Carbon brush in
the following order.
Note: Be careful not to deform Spiral spring as
illustrated right when shifting it from
Carbon brush.
