3.1.2
Check Device and Accessories
When the installation environment is confirmed to meet the requirement, open the
device packing box and check whether the devices and accessories in the packing
box is complete according to the device packing list.
If any item is found damaged or missing in the packing list, please contact the
dealer or sales of the device and feed back the question immediately.
When inspecting the device, please place the device and accessories to a safe
position to prevent the device falling or shock. Keep the device away from the liquid,
noxious gas, and dust to prevent the device damage.
When inspecting or handling the device, please wear gloves to prevent the metal
part corrosion on the device by the sweat.
Store all packing materials for transmission when necessary.
3.2 Installation Procedure
Install the SM2300-28TC-AC switch to the cabinet by the following steps:
Step 1: Wear the gloves and ESD wrist strap and ground the EDS wrist reliably.
Step 2: Place the device on the firm platform horizontally. Align the cabinet tray
installation hole with the corresponding hole on the device side. Use a
screwdriver to fix the cabinet tray on the two sides of the device, as shown in
Figure 3-3.

Step 3: Face the front side of the device to the operator. Hold the device by
hands and keep the device horizontal. Place the device from the device front to
the support board or tray carefully. Avoid the device and cabinet upright
