Measuring points of the working temperature and humidity of the
SM2300-28TC-AC switch in the equipment room mean the values measured
1.5m above the floor and 0.4 m from the front of the switch rack when there are
no protection boards.
2.
Short-term operation condition means working no more than continuous 48h
and less than accumulated 15 days a year.
3.
The critical working environment means the possible temperature and humidity
when the air conditioner in a general equipment room is faulty. It should be
recovered to normal condition within 5h.
2.2.2 Cleanliness Requirement
Dust is harmful to the operation of the SM2300-28TC-AC switch. The dust in the
room fell on the equipment may cause the electrostatics absorption, which may
result in poor contact of the metal connector. Especially when the humidity in the
room is relative low, it is more likely to cause electrostatic absorption. This may not
only affect the life span of the switch but also cause the communication failure.
