AUGERS, FAN AND DRIVE SHAFT SHEAR
BOLT REPLACEMENT
Shear bolts are to be considered a preventive
measure and not an assured protection. Operator
vigilance is required. Thoroughly inspect the areas
where the snowblower is to be used and remove all
foreign objects.
Always put the guards in place.
To avoid damage to the snowblower:
Use only the original shear bolts for the PTO driveshaft
(item 1) #108481 and the auger (item 2) #106983
(Shear bolts come in packs of 10)
LUBRICATION
Apply oil at all pivot points.
Chute Rotation System: Oil chute base every 16 hours
of operation.
Gear box:
Oil change :
First oil change : after 1 year or after 100 hours if the
accessory runs more than 100 hours a year
Other oil change : each year or after 600 hours if the
accessory runs more than 600 hours a year
The oil is SAE90.EP and the quantity is 1.2 Litre
PTO drive shaft and bearings:
Grease every 8 hours of use.
Roller Chain
Oil every 8 hours of use
There must be a 3/8’’ to 1/2’’ deflection on the chain.
