TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

Snowblower vibrates or is
Damaged auger
Repair or replace auger.
abnormally noisy.
Damaged drive shaft.
Replace drive shaft.
Defective bearing.
Replace bearing.
Damaged fan.
Dismount & repair or replace fan.
Driveline is not well installed.
Reinstall the driveline according to the
instructions in Step 3.
Driveline angle is more than 35
degrees
Lower the height of the accessory.
The snowblower is not parallel
with the tractor .
Adjust the top arm of the 3 point hitch so
the snowblower is parallel with the
tractor. If not, this will damage the
driveline.
The snowblower has stopped
working. stopped turning.
The drive line is damaged or the
shear bolt is probably broken.
Replace the driveline or the shear bolt.
Chute rotation is difficult.
Dirt or ice may be underneath
chute.
Clean the base of chute & the rotation
ring. Lubricate the inside and outside of
the chute.
The base of the chute or the
rotation ring may be damaged or
bent.
Replace defective parts.
Dirt in the oil
Clean oil
The chute plugs easily.
Vehicle engine is turning too
slowly.
Always have engine at full R.P.M. when
using the snowblower.
Advancing
too
quickly
with
vehicle.
Reduce speed. Allow snowblower to
ingest snow at its own speed.
Snowblower digs into ground.
Ground is not frozen or too soft.
Adjust skid shoes lower so they may
better support the snowblower.
Snowblower
does
not
raise
evenly.
Uneven tire pressure from one
side to another or 3 points hitch
badly adjusted
Refer to the vehicle’s owner manual for
tire pressure.
Check and adjust tractor tire pressure.
Tire pressure must be even on both
sides of vehicle.
