– In this arrangement, the router and the
BMK devices are each directly connected to the inverter via
separate ports.

2.2.4 Network Connections using the ME-RTR Router
If you are using a Magnum router, it is possible to connect the
BMK either directly to the router (see Figure 2-6) or directly to the
inverter (see Figure 2-7).

When using a router, each network device needs to be
plugged in to an individual port—to prevent data confusion
(do not use the 4-way splitter).
• Direct to Router Confi guration
– In this arrangement, the
BMK device is directly connected to the router (via a Comm
port)—which in turn is connected to the inverter.
