Configuration without LCD Module
Only level (no volume or open channel flow) applications
can be programmed without the LCD module. The trans-
mitter must be in the level measuring mode (P01) in order
to configure the unit without the LCD module.
The following data can be programmed without the LCD
module:
•
4 mA setpoint
•
20 mA setpoint
•
Fail-safe indication (Hold, 3.6 mA, 22 mA)
•
Damping time (10, 30 or 60 seconds)
•
Reset of data to factory default values
NOTE: The mA current output can also be assigned in inverted mode
with 4 mA = 100% (full tank), and 20 mA = 0% (empty tank).
NOTE: Programming without the LCD module is
only possible
if the
unit is receiving a
valid echo
- the "ECHO" LED must be lit
prior to configuring without the LCD module.
Configuring without the LCD module is done by pushing
the four push buttons while observing the status of the
COM and ECHO LED’s. The following key shows what
the LED’s will indicate while configuring without the
LCD module:
= LED is on
= LED is blinking
= LED is off
= LED’s are blinking alternatively
= LED status does not matter
After completing the configuration, replace the blue
protective cap and make sure that all other magnetic
influences are avoided.
