Mode Button - Allows you to play Steering Wheel/NeGcon, Analog
Controller and Digital mods by pressing the mode button (refer to
the Control Modes section above to determine what mode is best
for the game you are playing).
Action Buttons - The MC2 Racing Wheel has been equipped with
two 2-way butterfly buttons. These buttons can either be pushed or
pulled (see Buttons Equivalents chart on page 3). These buttons
emulate L2, R2 (pulling towards user) and L3, and R3 (pushing
away from user) respectively.
Programming
The MC2 Racing Wheel is fully programmable. Reprogramming the
button layout allows the user to completely customize the controller
to fit their preferences. Any action button can be re-mapped. To re-
map an action button, press the Program button one time. (Note:
While in Program mode, the controller will not function in a game).
After the Program button has been pressed, the Program LED will
light up showing that you may begin programming. Press the button
you would like to re-map (LED begins flashing) and then press the
button that has the desired function (LED shuts off). For example, to
make the L2 button function as an X button, the following steps
would be followed.
1. Press Program button
2. Press L2
3. Press X
To clear the configuration and reset it back to the default settings,
press the Program button, the press the button to be reset twice. All
programming must be done one session at a time. If you wish to
change multiple buttons, repeat the steps above for each button you
wish to change.
MC2 Racing Wheel Layout
Steering Wheel - This is the heart of the controller. It provides all of
your steering control. Because it is true analog, you will get more
responsive and accurate control.
Pedals - Provide analog acceleration (right pedal) and braking (lrft
pedal). The pedals emulate I and II when in Steering Wheel/NeGcon
mode, X and O when in Digital mode, and up on the right analog
stick (gas) and down on the right analog stick (brake) when in
Analog Controller mode.
Stick Shift - Emulates L1 and R1 in Analog Controller and Digital
mode. When in Steering Wheel/NeGcon mode, it’s the equivalent of
pressing “Up/Down” on the D-pad.
Directional Pad - This emulates the D-pad found on most control
pads. This is used for navigating through the menus and making
menu changes.
Retractable Leg Straps - There are two retractable leg straps on
the base of the MC2 that can extend to provide stability, comfort
and added support when the wheel is on your lap.
Suction Cups - There are three suction cups on the base of the
MC2 for mounting to a table or desktop.
Start Button - Functions the same as in the standard controller.
Select Button - Functions the same as in the standard controller
(when in Steering Wheel/NeGcon mode, this button is unused).
Calibrate Button - Engages calibrate mode (see Steering Wheel
Adjustment on page 4).
Program Button - Allows the user to change the function of any
action button (see Programming on page 7).
