Installing Nut Protectors (for Blade Hardware on Discs)

Figure 3.153: Nut Protector Storage Location

Twelve nut protector caps (A) are supplied as standard
equipment with each header. These are shipped bolted to
the tall crop feed plates.

The nut protectors can be used in place of the crop
accelerators (factory installed on each disc) when cutting in
light crop conditions to reduce air turbulence, thereby
improving the quality of cut.
