Removing the Conditioner
CAUTION
Ensure spreader bar is secured to the forks so that it
cannot slide off the forks or towards the mast while
detaching the conditioner from the header.
1. Attach a spreader bar (A) to a forklift or equivalent, and
attach chains to lugs (B) on conditioner. Use a chain
rated for overhead lifting with a minimum working load
of 2500 lb (1135 kg).
DANGER
To prevent the conditioner from falling backward,
ensure lifting chains are secure and tight. Failure to
do so may result in death or serious injury.

2. Move forward baf

lowered raised (B) to access M16 hex head bolt (C).

3. Remove two M16 hex head bolts (A) from each side
of conditioner that secure it to header. Lift conditioner
slightly forward to take load off bolts and to hold
the conditioner after the bolts are removed. Retain
hardware for reinstallation.
