Operation
General operation
1. Check the product, its battery pack and charger as well as
accessories for damage before each use. Do not use the product
if it is damaged or shows wear.
1. Double check that accessories or attachments are properly fixed.
2. Always hold the product firmly with one hand by the main handle.
Keep the main handle dry to ensure safe support.
3. While sawing, do not touch the hook, the blade or the air vents.
4. Ensure that the air vents are always unobstructed and clear.
Clean them if necessary with a soft brush. Blocked air vents may
lead to overheating and damage the product.
5. Switch the product off immediately if you are disturbed while
working by other people entering the working area. Always let
the product come to complete stop before putting it down.
6. After sawing, the blade may be hot, let it cool down before
touching it.
7. Do not overwork yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can
concentrate on the work and have full control over the product.
WARNING! In some countries regulations define at what time
of the day and on what special days products are allowed to
be used and what restrictions apply! Ask your community for
detailed information and observe the regulations in order to
preserve a peaceful neighbourhood and avoid committing
administrative offences!
Cutting
WARNING! During operation fine dust will be generated!
Some dusts are highly inflammable and explosive! Do not
smoke during operation, keep heat sources and open flames
out of the working area!
Always wear a dust mask to protect yourself against hazards
resulting from fine dust!
NOTE: Always use the product together with the spiked
bracket (1) when cutting smaller round workpieces. For
squared shaped or workpieces with bigger diameter (larger
than 60 mm) remove the bracket.
