Install RF-IN module
: Install the RF-IN module to the J3 connector on the top
electronic card (see figure 4).
Warning
:
•
All RF-IN modules linked to the WebGate 3G must be set to the same
RF Channel and RF Network number as the unit coordinating the Wi-
Farm network (coordinator). Consult the SubConnect module or control
instruction manual if needed.
5.
Link the WebGate 3G to the Internet
: Use the included network cable with RJ-
45 connector to link the WebGate 3G to an Internet access point.
Warning:
•
It is absolutely necessary that the communication equipment supports
DHCP protocol and allows an automatic access to the Internet, without
any setting, regardless to the fact that the Internet is accessed directly by
the Internet service provider’s equipment, or by means of a router.
•
Activation of an access to the Internet requires basic knowledge in
computer communication networks.
6.
Connect the transformer
: A wall transformer is included with the WebGate 3G.
