Hot Insertion (Hot Swappable)
The following classes of hot insertion are supported by the 80-pin FFD (in accordance with the
SCSI controller data sheet):
•
Class 1: Power OFF during removal or insertion.
•
Class 2: RST signal asserted continuously during removal or insertion.
•
Class 3: Current I/O processes not permitted during insertion or removal.
