Connect OkyFly’s L-R audio outputs to the line inputs of the audio card.
In this way, you’ll be able to use the audio card and relative control software to control the sound
from OkyFly2 (for example, you can use the preset Windows “volume control”, making certain to
also enable and adjust the “Line Input” control).
You’ll hear the sounds from OkyFly2 and not those of the virtual synthesizer of the audio card (as
happens when you use OkyWin Gold to play the songs for OkyFly2 contained on the hard disk).
However, the overall audio results depend on the quality of the audio card and the loudspeaker
enclosures connected to it.
Connect the OkyFly2 video output to the TV/video input of the video card.
In this way, you’ll be able to use the video card and relative control software to display OkyFly’s
controls in the PC’s monitor and the songs’ lyrics, just like you would do with a normal television
set. In the majority of cases, you’ll be able to control the display with both adjustable windows,
and full screen.
However, the video quality depends on the quality of the video card and the characteristics of the PC.
Connect OkyFly2 to your computer via the USB line.
To play back the songs, the USB connection isn’t necessary. The USB connection is only needed
to transfer the songs and for the other OkyFly2 functions controlled by OkyWin Gold (formatting
and optimizing Compact Flash cards, etc.).
Some computers may have difficulty handling several signals simultaneously in real time. If you
notice interference or lack of smooth flow during playback, just remove the USB connection and
use only the Audio/Video connections.
