4 - Audio and Music Controls
The four controls VOL, BAL, TEMPO and KEY allow to adjust the main
parameters for playing songs.
The controls are displayed in the areas dedicated to system information.
N.B.: in TEXT ONLY mode, these controls are not displayed, to avoid disturbing the reading of
the lyrics, but operate to all effects, exactly as in the other modes.
VOL (main volume)
The VOL control adjusts OkyFly2’s main output volume.
If necessary, adjust the volume of your sound system (TV, Hi-Fi, audio mixer, etc.) and, if available,
also the input sensitivity (e.g. on an audio mixer).
BAL (balance)
BAL adjusts the balance between
the volume of the music and the
microphone(s).
When positioned in the centre, music
and microphone(s) are at their
respective maximum volumes.
As the control is turned towards Mic,
the volume of the microphone(s)
remains unchanged (at maximum), while the volume of the backing track is
lowered until it is completely eliminated, at the end of the rotation.
Vice versa, as the control is turned towards Mus, the volume of the backing
track remains unchanged (at maximum), while the volume of the microphone(s)
is lowered until it is eliminated completely, at the end of the rotation.
The result of this mix is then controlled by VOL.
