Instrument map
The other important function of MUTE
consists in the possibility of disabling/re-
enabling playback of the sounds of the
songs’ individual musical instruments.
This function is particularly dedicated to those who
play a musical instrument or intend learning to do so
using the backing tracks to rehearse or perform. In
fact, you can exclude the playback of the instrument
you play (guitar, piano, sax, etc.), hear just it
(excluding the others), to study it in detail, or just
use the backing track’s rhythm section to be able to
improvise more freely; etc.
N.B.: does not work on MP3 files.
To exclude playback of one or more
instruments:
(with OkyFly2 in Stop)
Press and hold down the MUTE key
for a few seconds to access the
instrument Map .
This environment is made up of several
pages, in which the various musical
instruments are listed.
Use the Up and Down arrows
to pass from one instrument to
another and from one page to
another, and position the cursor
on the name of the required
instrument.
Use the Left and Right arrows to set the selected
instrument as MUTE (disabled) or PLAY (enabled).
Press ESC to exit the Instrument Map .
The songs will only be played back with the instruments set at PLAY and without
those set at MUTE .
