Diplaying the lyrics on the screen
When a song is playing, the name of the artist and the song title (and any
publisher) appear first of all on the TV screen, immediately followed by the
song’s lyrics.
The
lyrics run along with the song and are coloured in sync with the melody.
The instrumental parts of the songs are shown with the graphic symbols
coloured “in sync”, which allows to easily pick out the vocal part’s
reprise point.
Two display modes are available:
TEXT ONLY : displays just the lyrics of the
song being performed.
The lyrics run continuously, as if on a reel.
You can look for other songs even while a
song is being played. In fact, as soon as
the cursor is moved, the display changes
to TEXT+SEARCH mode.
TEXT+SEARCH : allows to display the
song’s lyrics (top window) and to carry out
a search for other songs (bottom window).
- The phrases
already performed or
about to be performed are written in
UPPER CASE format.
- The anticipated phrases, i.e. those to be
performed soon, but not immediately
are written in lower case. These phrases
can be positioned before or after upper
case text, according to the
characteristics of the lyrics.
You can choose which text display mode to use as default mode using
Menu / Video Settings/ Lyrics Mode.
If you choose TEXT ONLY, the text will be displayed normally in TEXT ONLY,
changing to mode TEXT+SEARCH only temporarily during the search phase;
if you choose TEXT+SEARCH, the display will be only in TEXT+SEARCH mode.
N.B.: for the display of the song’s chords (which can be enabled via Menu / Video Settings / Chords),
TEXT+SEARCH mode must be set as default mode.
