Vario unit connection
LX Vario unit can be plug_and_play connected via Junction box. The connection includes power and also LX
system bus. The system bus wires are yellow and green. After the connection is realized the cooperation between
navigation program running on LX Mini Map and Vario unit is possible. The data exchange capability depends on
navigation program. See table below.

2.3.1
Controlling of Vario unit
The unit can be controlled by
left/right rotary
switch of keyboard module and also by
remote control stick,
if
installed. Both units can execute
only limited number of commands as follows:

Audio volume adjustment
•
MC adjustment
•
Ballast adjustment
•
Bugs adjustment
•
Vario filter adjustment
The action always starts by
pressing
on push button of the
left/right
knob or
enter
of remote. After sequenced
pressings above mentioned items will be listed on vario display
lower row
. Adjustment is made by
rotary switch
or
up/down arrows of the remote. During adjustment process the value is temporary displayed in the lower
right corner
of the display and will disappear automatically after no further commands will be detected.
After a time out with no further commands, the unit will switch back to normal mode automatically.
All other inputs and settings should be done by navigation program. See also captures 3.2.1, 3.2.2 and 3.2.3.
