INSTALLATION
• Attach a back-cover bracket to each of the installation brackets.
•
Break off the removable tabs on the back of the installation bracket.
• Insert the prongs on the back-cover bracket into the holes on the back of
the installation bracket.
• If a satellite battery pack or AC transformer is used, break off the tab at the
top of the back-cover bracket.
Insert the back cover into the back-cover brackets.
• Refer to drawings below to determine the proper positioning of the back
cover.
OUTSIDE MOUNT APPLICATIONS
Mount the ends of the installation brackets on a flat vertical
surface at least 20 mm high. Two screws are used to attach
each bracket. Position the brackets on the centrelines you
marked and then attach them with the appropriate fasteners.
Be sure all the installation brackets are attached at exactly
the same height, and use a Carpenter’s level to check
that the tops of the brackets are perfectly horizontal.
SPACER BLOCKS
Spacer blocks are used to project the installation bracket
away from the mounting surface when additional clearance
is required. Each spacer block increases clearance by
12mm. Use a maximum of three blocks, with the solid sides
facing the mounting surface. Check to be sure your
mounting screws are long enough for a secure installation.
