Assembly
Replacing the cutting mechanism
– Keep the release button (11) pressed.
– Pull the cutter (1) back and remove it.
– Fit the cutting mechanism (1) as shown.
– Ensure that the arrow marks (12) are aligned with
one another.
– Push the cutter forwards until it audibly engages.
Mounting the handle rod (only for 115 210)
– Screw the device holder (13) to the sliding rod (8)
using screws (14) as illustrated.
– Fit the device to the device bracket (13) as
shown.
– Ensure that the product audibly engages.
– Fit the plug (15) to the socket of the device.
The angle of the sliding rod can be adjusted in 90°
steps:
– Keep hold of the device holder (13) and pull the
sliding rod (8) backwards.
– Turn the sliding rod into the required position.
– Undo the clamping sleeve (9).
– Set the handle rod (8) to the required length.
– Tighten the clamping sleeve (9) back up again.
Operation
Switching on and off
– Remove blade guard.
– Switching on: Press the switch lock (2) and
simultaneously press the On/Off switch (4).
– Switching off: Release the On/Off switch (4).
– After switching off wait until the blade is station-
ary.
– Mount blade guard.
Cutting edges
– Guide the device along the edge of the lawn.
Cutting hedges
– Trim smoothly with the broad side of the cutting
equipment. Do not push the point into the
hedge.
Tips on hedge trimming
11. Trim the hedge to the desired height.
12. Rejuvenate the hedge by trimming it from the
bottom up in trapezoidal form.
13. Round off the upper edges of the hedge.
14. Slightly trim the bottom of the hedge.

Before chang-
ing the cutting mechanism, always fit the
blade guard.

When working
above ground height, the handle rod may
not be used.
Note:
The battery pack must be charged
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Ensure that the cutting mechanism does
not come into contract with paved floors,
stones or garden walls.
If foreign objects should get caught up in
the cutting unit then switch off the device
immediately.
Note:
When cutting larger areas of grass,
we recommend using the handle rod (only
for 115 210)
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!

fences!
If cut material such as fence wire or similar
material should get caught up in the cutting
unit then switch off the device immediately.
NOTICE! Risk of environmental dam-
age!
Work with the hedge trimmer is not
allowed during customary rest periods.
Before cutting a hedge, check that there
are no birds nesting.
