router. It enables your recorder to connect automatically to your network and to communicate immediately
with all devices connected to your network. You’ll find the automatically distributed IP-Address in the Main
Menu „Diagnostic“. It consists of 4 numeric pairs, each seperated by a full stop, e.g. 192.168.1.13. (See
Chapter 5.11 for further instructions on the Diagnostics Menu).
IMPORTANT : If your DHCP-Server is not configured in the right way, it can happen that your recorder
periodically receives a new IP-Adress, which can lead to all sorts of problems, e.g. you cannot access your
recorder with the known IP-Address and other parameters might not work as a result. In most cases, you can
configure your IP server in a way that it always distributes the same IP-addresses to the same devices.
Please check the manual of your DHCP server for further instructions.
5.7.1.2 LAN Setup
If you choose to connect your LUPUSTEC – LE800 D1 Recorder via your network with a fixed, prechosen
IP-Address, you have to choose the LAN mode in your network setup menu. Please enter the following
information:

Enter DNS address. (Note: The correct DNS address must be entered for
DDNS function).
Attention: In order to know the network address of your home network, please refer to the preference
panel of your network setup of your computer. If you happen to use a Windows PC, please press the
windows and R keys simultaneously. As soon as the DOS Terminal window appears, please type in
„IPCONFIG“ and press return. The current network address will appear, .e.g. 192.168.1.4. Within a
network, the first 3 number pairs of the IP-address of all connected devices have to be identical. The
last number pair is different and thereby differentiate between the devices.
5.7.1.3 ADSL
If you would like to choose ADSL as a network option, please choose „ADSL“ Choose this option only, if
you want the recorder to be connected to the internet via modem and PPPOE/ Dial In connection and not
via an internet router.
