5.2.1 Quality and Framerate Setup
All preferences that you make are either applying to standard recordings (i.e. manual or scheduled continuous
recordings) or event recordings (scheduled motion or sensor triggered recordings). Quality and framerate are
both CPU-power consuming tasks, hence a very high resolution and quality diminishes slightly the ability to
choose from high framerates and vice versa.
This panel is dedicated to make the right adjustments for both.
Item Description
View Normal / View Event Setup resolution, quality and FPS separately for different record type.
No. Check/ Uncheck the box will enable/ disable recording of that channel.
Resolution Choose record resolution, this value will be used by each channel.
Quality Choose from Below Basic / Basic/ Normal/ High/ Highest.
FPS Choose recording frame rate (max. 25 fps per channel).
Auto
Sets the max. available framerate depending on the resolution you’ve
chosen and distributes it evently between the channels
The information “Normal XXX/400” means that the recorder is able to process 400 fps at the lowest resolution
(320x288 pixel). Please not that this is a theoretical value, since you can choose max. 25 fps per channel. If
