7.5 Connecting the System’s Power Source
The source required to power the system depends on the system size. The larger the system, the more power is
required.
This following power sources are available:

USB Cable below
• Enhanced Power Source - PCB Controller with LED PCB Power Extension below
•

7.5.1 USB Cable
The standard power source supply for the PCB HV Controller is a supplied USB cable. This section applies to both
Dual Sensor and Quad Sensor systems.
To connect the PCB HV Controller to the power source:
1. Connect the supplied USB cable to the USB connection marked J5 on the PCB Controller board.
2. Connect the other side of the USB cable to the PC.
7.5.2 Enhanced Power Source - PCB Controller with LED PCB Power
Extension Cable
An enhanced power source is required for PCB Controllers in systems containing 5 – 16 LED PCBs.
The system receives the enhanced power from the monitor.
To connect an enhanced power source - with LED PCB Power Extension cable:
1. Open the roll of Lumio External Power Supply cable.
The cable has a connector, two open wires, one red and one black, and a socket.
