Configuration 

To find OPUS measurement instruments connected to the network, three steps are required: 

 

Generate an “OPUS Finder” device (Apps >> Manage Apps and Devices  >> 
Manage Opus Finder) 

 

Activate the device. Do not forget to save the configuration 

 

Start searching for 

connected OPUS20 instruments by hitting he button “Refresh list 

of devices

” 

To configure an OPUS20 device, go to the “Configuration” tab. The configuration parameters 
are: 

 

name (short) 

Name of the device for display in the device list. 

 

name (long) 

A longer name for the device. 

 

description 

Notes about the device usage / configuration 

 

device active 

Switches the device on or off. When switched on, the value 
acquisition process is running

After the search has been completed, the OPUS20 instruments can be configured remotely 
(click on the spanner wrench icon).
